In the end the average for the season was 243 with 1 gate of 345 and a top gate of 443. Next season we will hope to do better by getting a lot more youngsters to attend and by spreading the word further afield.
It took the club a little time to adjust to the numbers and this after starting to charge for the first time ( 2e ) including the raffle to help the club which has several junior teams to survive. But in the end tables and chairs in front of the bar, the raffle winner being posted on the notice board and plans on the drawing board for a new scoreboard with instant televised replays of all the goals, however getting it off the drawing board may prove a little difficult.
Anyway a most enjoyable season all round.
